Likewise, the Tamaskan Dog Puppy of the Year award will be given to the Tamaskan Dog Puppy with the most points at the end of the year. If a puppy turns 12 months before the end of the competition year, only the points scored before their first birthday will count towards the Tamaskan Dog Puppy of the Year award. Any points scored after 12 months of age will count towards the Tamaskan Dog of the Year award.

Because we do not want anyone to feel left out, any non-Tamaskan Dog (outcrosses, members' pets, etc.) can be entered in the Sidekick class. The Sidekick of the Year award will be given to the Sidekick with the most points at the end of the year.
