The Tamaskan Dog Association (TDA) was founded in 2024 in an effort to provide a centralized and cohesive experience for Tamaskan Dog owners, breeders, and enthusiasts. The TDA’s goals are many faceted:

  • To promote ethical and responsible breeding and ownership of Tamaskan Dogs worldwide;
  • To be a comprehensive, international resource with respect to the heritage, health, and breeding of Tamaskan Dogs, regardless of breed politics or affiliations;
  • To help and support those who wish to know or do more with the breed or their own dogs; and
  • To grow and unify the community.

The founders are tired of infighting between breeders and registries, and the difficulty of finding readily accessible information on pedigrees, breeding dogs, and health. As such, the TDA was started so that anyone who wishes to submit information may, and by doing so, explicitly grants permission for the dissemination of this information for all other members. We aim to be a friendly and welcoming organization for the Tamaskan Dog community as a whole, with extensive resources made available to our members.

Towards these ends, the TDA upholds members to high standards. For more information on our regulations and expectations of our community, please refer to our Code of Conduct and FAQs.

Please note that as of its founding, the TDA is not intended as a registry for the breed.
